We start with the problem, not the fragrance.

Most body care is sold on scent and packaging. The formula is an afterthought: a generic lotion base in a nicer bottle, a scrub that is mostly sugar and perfume. It smells right on the shelf and it does very little on skin.

Alicemera was built the other way around. Every product starts with one specific problem - ingrown hair after shaving, skin that dries out and tightens, hair too coarse to soften, dark circles that make you look tired when you are not - and the formula is assembled from the actives that address that problem, at levels where they actually do something.

What the formulas are built on

Dead Sea minerals

Magnesium, calcium, potassium and bromide, drawn from one of the most mineral-dense bodies of water on earth. People have used it for skin comfort for a very long time, well before the industry had a word for skincare. We use it because it earns its place, not because it reads well on a label.

Actives that earn their place

Six-form hyaluronic acid, hydrolyzed keratin, niacinamide, AHA and BHA, sea buckthorn seed oil, retinol. Each one is in a given formula because it does a specific job in that formula, at a concentration where it can do it. Nothing is added at trace level so it can appear on the front of the bottle.

Six-form hyaluronic acid is the clearest example. Different molecular weights hold water at different depths, so hydration stays in the skin and hair instead of sitting on the surface and evaporating by lunchtime. One form of it does a fraction of that job.

One problem, one formula, whoever has it

Some of our products are aimed at coarse beard hair and razor-heavy routines. Others are aimed at bikini-line ingrown hair. Most are aimed at skin that simply needs water and lipids put back into it, which is not a problem that belongs to one half of the population.

So we do not split the range by aisle. We split it by what is actually going wrong, and you pick the product that matches your problem rather than the one with your name on the shelf edge.

Honest about what a cosmetic can do

A good formula changes how skin and hair look, feel and behave. It is not medicine, and we will not write copy that pretends otherwise. What we will do is tell you which ingredient is in there, why it is in there, and how to use the product so it has a chance to work.
